I need help on my Karlov build.

I need to squeeze Sunbond into it. The synergy with Karlov of the Ghost Council is too good to pass up. I just took out Falkenrath Noble for Healer of the Pride and I took out Secure the Wastes for Wall of Reverence. I especially enjoy the prospect of the Karlov of the Ghost Council + Sunbond + Wall of Reverence combo. It's going to get out of hand fast, but I need to squeeze in Sunbond. I'd prefer to take out another white card so I don't throw off my color distribution.

Falkenrath Noble Is better than healer, because it isnt limited to creatures you control and you havve means of making a bunch of tokens usually and based on the commander probably would give you more counters, since each instance of Noble is seperate triggers and the amount of life you gain for karlov doesnt matter

I don't understand why you need to squeeze in Sunbond over literally any other continuous lifegain card. Your list on your profile isn't running Archangel of Thune or Righteous Cause or Patron of the Kitsune, whom are absolutely ridiculous (for every one creature attacking, gain two counters on Karlov? That's pretty incredible if your meta isn't all combo all the time). Sanguine Bond and Exquisite Blood are better than the creatures you're running that are kinda Sanguine Bond too.

You're not even running the good one shot spells like Essence Harvest. You can drop slow bunk like Avatar of Woe (why when your Commander exiles or you could just run a kill spell. With no tutors, I do not see Thornbite Staff occurring often which means one is a slow card, and the other can be dead oftentimes), Kuro, Pitlord (Too much mana for an upkeep cost, and at his mana cost you could cast a tutor, get Aetherflux Reservoir, cast Reservoir, and just kill the player with the creatures you're so scared of), Stern Judge (no tutors and Urborg Tomb, huh? Okay. This card is trash without Urborg as it is wholly dependent on it), Unspeakable Symbol (this isn't Marchesa, I get that you gain life, but this would be better as a tutor for Aetherflux Reservoir or something). You could easily drop any one of these for Sunbond and Falkenreath Noble if the list on your profile is anything like the one that you're currently playing.

Test of Endurance would be solid in your list too. Soldier of the Pantheon gives a solid number of triggers for more counters on Karlov, as well (I personally think it could do more than Ajani's Mantra/Ram and other once-per-turn effects).

Bhaal666, et al: Judge. Sorry, it slipped my mind.

Khazrax: I've been abusing Whitemane Lion, Stonecloaker and Lab Rats, so I get more triggers off of ETB vs dies. Do you think it would be better to use 2 strategies or focus on 1?

PookandPie: I tried running Righteous Cause, but the only one that actually attacks with creatures in my group is myself; everyone else just combos off or uses mana denial to lock other players out of the game.

I used to run Death Grasp, that's kind of like Essence harvest, but I never really felt impressed with it. You may be right about avatar of woe, destroying has a lot less weight than exiling. I'm pretty attached to Kuro, Pitlord, he has saved me before when the commander tax on Karlov was too high to pay. His -1/-1 boost gets past indestructible, which is nice. Plus I can Reanimate him for much less sometimes.

I think you're right about Stern Judge, he's never done anything for me. I've actually won the majority of games where Unspeakable Symbol came out, I try to be fairly aggressive with my own life when playing Karlov.

I really would like to try out Test of Endurance, it's a very good card.

thankyou. i would use Cradle of Vitality before Sunbond, you need to use mana for it but when a creature gets removed the cradle is still there and can be used to buff different creatures. I would drop Mortify and Fiend Hunter and add cradle and sunbond. in adding these two you are adding more removal than mortify or fiend will ever get you. that said if you sorely need those removal then my suggestion is to watch which cards do work and which fail miserably.

Always have more than 1 way to win. Unless you're playing Hermit Druid then you should have multiple ways to stack those +1/+1 counters. You could even use both of those strategies and use Dictate of Erebos to get them to sack their creatures and trigger Blood Artist and Falkenrath Noble. Or, Give your commander indestructible, with Darksteel Plate or other means and then board wipe with Mass Calcify / Wrath of God / Damnation / any board wipe, and watch as you get a whole bunch of +1/+1s from the triggers you just win with commander damage
