FNM 9th Place — Sept. 8, 2013

Went 9th place again, :( 3-2

1st round I dueled Maze's End and won 2-0. Restoration Angel got there first game and second game he was one gate away from winning and I was one combat away from winning. I countered his Fog and swung with Thundermaw Hellkite for the win.

2nd round I won again against Naya Midrange. I won 2-1. First game I won with 2 Warleader's Helix and 2 Thundermaw Hellkite. 2nd game I lost to aggressive Elemental tokens that were 5/5's . Then 3rd game he got me to 1 and if he drew a Thundermaw Hellkite he would have won but nope.

3rd round I lost to Golgari Aggro, 1-2. Not much to say about that. Game one I was mana screwed, game 2 he was mana screwed, and game 3 it was anybody's game.

4th round I lost again to that human sacrifice deck. It was easily my match but I mulliganed to 5 both games. Lost 0-2.

5th round I won against Grixis 2-0. It was pretty easy since he is best against midrange. I countered of burned all his creatures and killed him before Staff of Nin could get me.
