Just been trying a few different ways to make a TOP TIER dragon deck that can keep up with the fast aggro in standard right now and go to a Grand Prix and compete, with dragons of takir I think I can finally do it. Thunderbreak Regent for 4 mana is a godsend. Win Cons of Ugin, the Spirit Dragon and Stormbreath Dragon, with the killer combo of Crater's Claws and Savage Ventmaw Use the very economic Roast (bye bye seige rhino!!) for removal. Also I can completely flip my deck to a burn against mirror or control heavy for a game 2 that their sideboard will be useless against. (That's alot of fun) try it out, beat your friends and comment, suggest and of course please plus 1!!! UPDATED!! added in more blue with Icefall Regent and silmugar's scorn, I also removed Savage Ventmaw due to just not being worth 6 drop. Added in 2 more Dragonlord Atarka.

Went to Sunday Gameday made a small adjustment just before start. I moved 2x Boon Satyr to sideboard and main boarded 2x Draconic Roar.

First round lost 0-2. Just got screwed couldn't pull right mana in game 1 and nothing but ramp in game 2. Faced a really good warrior b/w synergy deck.

Second round won 2-0 . Was really worried that it wasn't going to come around but squashed an Abzan midrange. It wasn't even close I had ugin and savage ventmaw, crater claws combo hitting him before he could play first seige rhino.

Third round won 2-0. Played against a solid red burn deck, but just couldn't handle my onslaught of 4+ plus toughness creatures

Fourth round won 2-0. For championship played b/w warrior deck again from round 1. This time I outright spanked him. His got me down to 6 both games but then my big boys were just too much for his 2/1 and 3/2 warriors.

All in all very happy (except 1st round) on decks performance the shop I went to was a new one for me never been there before but had a late Sunday start time that worked for me. Can't wait to take it to my normal shop this Friday and try it , amongst tougher competition with stronger players.
