This is my Grixis Cruel Control deck aimed to be more fun than good. But i still strive to make it as good as possible. I want it to be fun to play, good and as affordable as im comfortable with. Rather than buying insanely expensive (but good) cards like Cryptic Command, Liliana of the Veil, Damnation and Snapcaster Mage im striving to make a deck of equal level of power but with my own flavor.

I dont find the meta in modern to be very fun or flavorful since u basically know at what an opponent will be playing based on the colors of their deck. The way of the meta is ofc much more viable so if you are looking for something super competetive this is most likely not the deck for yoy...yet.

I do intend on adding some of the staple cards to this deck in the future but not right now.

You will notice this kind of thinking in most, if not all, of my decks.
