This deck is my attempt to play a BANT control deck, and against the meta. It's a home brew deck I've created, and has some serious punch to it.
-The win cons-
Myth Realized - With so many spells to cast, this will easily be a 10/10. This is our main win condition. If the board isnt cleared, we can get in for damage hoping we have Selesnya Charm to throw on trample, and get it an additional +1/+1.
Celestial Colonnade - Only running two of these, and there is more than one creature to be able to summon unlike most control style decks. With being control, Ive always hated having this as my only land card, and it setting me behind on going into play tapped. This is why I'm running two copies.
Advent of the Wurm - Instant 5/5 blocker, with trample. Also one of my favorite cards ever printed.
Reach of Branches - This guy has turned out to be an all star. Not to mention against Liliana of the Veil. Getting this card back to have to discard, or the repeated casting of 2/5 creatures to make a wall.
-Counterspells-
Cryptic Command - The best counter spell there is.
Render Silent - Basically ends the opponents turn. This is king when playing against combo decks, or decks such as burn.
Hindering Light - Protects our wincons, and draws a card. Also can protect out selves from spells that target us. Multi use
Remand - Buys us extra digging time, to get a solution to the problem.
This deck has many way to gain card advantage. A total 15 card draws. Horizon Canopy is a one of, as I cannot afford to purchase anymore with it approaching a ~$80 price. Manamorphose Helps to get us mana for Cryptic Command as hitting a 3 islands is sometimes a miss in the deck on the rare occasion. It's also nice as its a free spell to increase the counters on Myth Realized
