Explore. Either we get lands for the future, or we make our creatures stronger. And it works on Saprolings!

• Wildgrowth Walker gains power the more you Explore.
• Jadelight Ranger Explore twice.
• Enter the Unknown send a creature to Explore and in addition, you can play a second land this turn.
• Path of Discovery to make every creature who enters the battlefield Explore.

The Saprolings. These 1/1 Tokens are weak in first sight, but are very useful and can be very powerful!

• Yavimaya Sapherd spawns a Saproling when it enters the battlefield.
• Tendershoot Dryad spawns a Saproling in each upkeep, including the opponent one, and add +2/+2 to all Saprolings when you get Ascend (10 permanents, Lands and Tokens counts!).
• Sporecrown Thallid adds +1/+1 to all Saprolings, but also Fungus!
• Slimefoot, the Stowaway to create a Saproling, and when a Saproling dies, opponent lose 1 life and you gain one.
• Fungal Infection is a early game removal (-1/-1 to a creature), and later, a Saproling creator.

Support and Removal spells

• Cast Down for destroying creature.
• Hour of Glory for exiling creature.
• Vicious Offering -2/-2, -5/-5 when kicked, and provides a good combo with Saprolings and Slimefoot.
• Broken Bond for enchantment/artifact removal, and allow you to put an additional land on the battlefield.
• Song of Freyalise for ramp to get out Tendershoot Dryad and power up Saprolings.

Combos

• Tendershoot Dryad + Path of Discovery + Wildgrowth Walker: In EACH upkeep, you spawn a Saproling, and it Explores, which adds one +1/+1 to the Wildgrowth Walker and you gain 3 life. It's basically our main combo.
• Saproling + Vicious Offering + Slimefoot, the Stowaway: When you need to destroy a powerful creature. Play Vicious Offering, sacrifice a Saproling as a kicker cost, you deal 1 damage to the opponent and gain 1 life in addition of clearing the way.

Maybeboard Notes

These are cards that I'm considering as a feel out a new meta, along with a few that I plan on swapping for but have yet to purchase.

• Fungal Plots is good insurance for board wipes.
• Llanowar Elves along with another Song of Freyalise provides a nice ramp package to speed things up.
• Vraska's Contempt works well for creature and planeswalker exile as an upgrade to Hour of Glory.
• Replacing basic lands with 2-4 Blooming Marsh would provide more early game flexibility.
• If your meta has a lot of spot removal, Shapers' Sanctuary seems like a good option.
• Duress and Divest are both great choices depending on the environment.
