Legion's Landing  Flip is fairly cheap and will be super good. Anointed Procession also seems to be something you want to do. Perhaps Yavimaya Sapherd too. Your instinct on Lyra Dawnbringer and Huatli, Radiant Champion are probably right - maybe the new Ajani, Adversary of Tyrants too?

I think you probably don't need Gaea's Blessing, and unless you put in more saprolings Fungal Plots seems slow. I don't like Orazca Relic since you don't really need to ramp to 5, and the best thing it does is replace itself.

I don't know much about brawl meta but I think that's a place to start!

Taking a closer look at your deck, I've noticed a couple things that you could change. From comparing my saproling deck, Sappy Bois, and the one here, yours is about creating and sacrificing the little bois, while mine is creating, buffing, and using the bois to win. That said, I think you could take out the 3 Sporecrown Thallids and replace them with more sappy boi generation. I would recommend 1 more of each in their place: Spore Swarm, Saproling Migration, and Yavimaya Sapherd

Hey, spells that make Saps at instant with convoke are very good: Sprout Swarm and Scatter the Seeds. Sprout Swarm also has buyback with enough Saps or other green creatures you can continuously make Saps at instant speed. Because convoke works with creatures who first ETB you can tap Saps who are created the same turn their created to pay for a spell with convoke. This can be borderline busted with cards that double tokens like Doubling Season. It's a very strong mechanic with token strategies.

Chord of Calling is the best spell in Commander with convoke, but it's not budget, but if you're willing to splurge a little than I also recommend it. Yavimaya Sapherd is a good three drop with Saps. It's a Fungus and it creates a Sap when it ETB. Regal Force is great budget green draw especially with tokens or other creature heavy strategies like Elves.

There are several budget Golgari dual lands in Commander and even though some ETB tapped that's still better than playing 28x basic lands in the manabase. These dual lands can give you more color fixing to make sure you can consistently make both green and black.

Hey, I like the idea of playing Anointer Priest with Sap tokens. I suggest expanding on this idea. Both Priest and Sap tokens are good with Anointed Procession this is the direction I think you should move into. More Procession, more Priest and more Sap token creators such as Spore Swarm and Yavimaya Sapherd.

In the deck description you mention Song of Freyalise, but it's not in the deck. You also mention that you generate a lot of mana, but there's only Llanowar Elves to generate mana and 2x Growing Rites of Itlimoc  Flip which is too hard to consistently count on flipping with so few creatures and token creators. Something is being left out from the decklist compared to the deck you're actually playing?

I suggest adding Song, you're right with Sap tokens it's quite good.

  • 4x Llanowar
  • 4x Priest
  • 2x Slimefoot
  • 4x Sapherd
  • 3x Tendershoot
  • 4x Procession
  • 3x Song
  • 4x Swarm
  • 4x Migration
  • 4x Offering

Probably go 20 lands and cut a copy of Yavimaya Sapherd.

Only "maybe" cards you have listed I would use would be Garruk Wildspeaker, Overrun, Scatter the Seeds, or Overwhelming Stampede. I would probably not bother with any of the red cards you have in your maybe board with the exception of Kessig Wolf Run, but you have not brought up any strong red ideas that I think you would really want to use them at this time. If you want to include cards from your maybe board, just make sure to keep your mana curve in mind and how many token spells you are running.

Looks interesting... Maybe your collection is growing and you've yet to have acquired all the cards, but I'd definitely start with playing all the cards with kicker in the colors of Hallar. Consider a saproling sub-theme to stay cost-effective and create more synergy.

It seems like you are working with a budget, so I'll avoid suggesting things like Carnage Tyrant, because I think there are still cheap includes that increase the power/speed of this deck.

Perhaps you could add Yavimaya Sapherd for a 3-drop for when you have no creatures to use your enchantments on. And if you can't reliably find lands early on, or creatures in the late game you could add a pair of Adventurous Impulse.

All in all I really like the more tempo-like approach you use, which you don't really find in decks like this.
