Welcome again to the 3rd Edition of my Vamps and Light Decks, This one focusus primarily on gaining life, but not through normal means, rather through means that drain the opponet and this is likely my favorite kind of vampire deck that I never got around to making but has always been a favorite of mine I've been meaning to try despite I'm still quite new to standard. I plan to make this deck the most powerful of the other two editions I've already made while combining the aspects of both of those editions.

(Also note this is on a more lower budget and may not be my best deck idea and won't be finalized for a time until everythings worked out but its an idea to start with)

Firstly we'll start with Life Gaining: Card's like Gifted Aetherborn, Vampire Tokens with lifelink, and such all have the ability to gain the life help make your deck survive just a little further

Secondly I'll talk about Life Draining: Few cards exist that are standard legal are able to drain opponets lifesource without gain but still prove useful as a theme of the deck.

Thirdly I'll tell you about the primary focus of the deck, Life Gaining and Draining: This is the form of gaining life while weakening your opponet at the same time with every move you make, every turn you'll gain something, and the opponet will lose something, aka, life points.

Cards that greatly signify this deck will be the card such as Sanctum Seeker

Lastly you got the rest of the cards in the deck: These being cards that give +1/+1 counters and help create the army of vampires to grow not only in size, but decent power. These are the cards that will be used to remove and exile opponets various resources while keeping your own in play, but also grants your vampires the ability needed to help you survive

Here's the cards that will benefit this deck greatly for the sake of vampire power: Legion Lieutenant, Radiant Destiny, Unclaimed Territory, Shefet Dunes for its later ability, Call to the Feast,Mavren Fein, Dusk Apostle, and thats about it for that.

Now then, I wrote alot and if you read it, thanks actually, took a lot of time for details and all but its my general idea of what I'd feature in this deck and its capabilities. Thank you for reading and do help give suggestions to make this deck become as powerful as it should sound.

All suggestions and tips are greatly appreciated as always :). Thanks if you can help master this deck to its true potential that it could be.

Updates Add

(Deck will be updated many times over the course of the week, the deck is about draining, not empowering as much) After doing a lot of searching on here on the cards page I found out that there's a lot more cards that can give life and drain life together than I thought. I will be acquiring them at some point but for now here's the ones in particular that are possible additions to this deck at a later point:

Trespasser's Curse (curses opponet for their creature in exchange for a life point)

Ashes of the Abhorrent (Simple, gain life whenever something fades away)

Raiders' Wake (Another awsome enchantment I found, attack each turn once and its effect comes into play quite nicely, plus they get to discard a card each turn).

Torment of Scarabs (Sacrifice or lose 3 life)

Cruel Reality (Like torment of scarabs, but better, slight difference)

Gruesome Fate (not exactly gain but can be useful for a life drain)

Battle at the Bridge (A gain method as it costs 1 and X, great for eliminating and gaining some life to start with or even to destroy something faster and get life in the process)

Mark of the Vampire (Nothing special, enchants creature with a +2/+2 and lifelink)

Sanguine Sacrament (Gives double life based on mana cost payed for X)

Oketra's Last Mercy (Honestly this card I'm surprised no one mentions much around here, this card saves your life if you get the chance to play it).
