A Different Kind of Esper Control (Standard MTG Deck)

So the Athreos, God of Passage & Supreme Verdict combo is freaking awesome! However, I continue to need help with the curve, and need to make sure the creature selection is the best it can be. The point of this deck is control with creatures, and I'm not sure how well it is doing so. Suggestions welcome!!
