Mardu Esper Grixis Zombies

There's a lot of stuff going on here. But for the most part it's UR / Grixis zombies list without the Elder Deep-Fiend s and Kozilek's Return . Essentially I cut the deep-fiend package for a bit more B zombie fun that's packed in the new set.

The typical zombie enablers are still around. These would be the Cathartic Reunion, Tormenting Voice and Lightning Axe trio. They help get zombies into the graveyard. We all know what fun happens from there.

But we do have some new toys from Amonkhet worth plying with.

Plague Belcher makes an appearance for synergy with haunted dead and Dread Wanderer. Either of those two creatures do a good job receiving -1/-1 counters. if even just one singular Prized Amalgam ends up getting dragged into belcher's death and reanimation cycle, we rep very decent power.

Since I'm doing a ton of discarding and maybe some cycling, I decided to splash a bit further in U for Drake Haven. Let me tell you: this addition has improved the deck. From the opponent's perspective now not only is it a complicated ground game with reanimation issues to deal with... Out of no where 2/2 flying drakes come out and pile up all over the place. Sure, drakes don't fit zombie theme. But man the card is good.

Finally throne of te God-pharaoh is another little life drain clock. Kind of a nonbo to reanimate at opponent's second main. We'll see if the throne drain effect becomes powerful enough for me to reanimate on my own turn.
