Sideboard

Maybeboard

A casual Boros deck that focuses on small soldiers who collectively do damage. I'd say it's very good early-to midgame, so around turn 1-3 is when you're vulnerable, and turn 4 or 5 you activate, but around late game you'll probably fail. I got the idea and most of the cards from the Boros guildkit, which heavily inspired me and showed me the way of Boros.

Utilizing efficient and low costing soldiers, you can keep swinging; use instants to buff them up and keep them alive.

Maybeboard:

    • Tajic and mentor cards: Was thinking of using mentor cards and most of the double strike dudes in deck for maximum value, but might not synergize with mentor of the meek so well.
    • Shock and check lands: If you have them why not use them, I certainly don't
    • Brightflame: Good spell, high CMC
    • Deafening Clarion: A good sweeper that has utility with lifelink, but its sorcery speed so it doesn't synergize with the sun forger too well. Although I do agree I'll need some sweepeprs.
    • Sunhome Guildmage: A good card; don't know who to switch out. Same with Boros Reckoner, its just that Reckoner doesn't work well with mentor of the meek.
    • Martial Glory: Martial glory is a super good instant in my opinion, working extremely well with double strike dudes, I just don't know what to switch out
    • Captain of the watch/preeminent captain: Good, but don't know what to switch out

Thinking: - All of them are soldiers, so they could also benefit from tribal, such as preeminent soldier, but Boros Reckoner wouldn't do so hot.

For advice: Generally looking on how to make the deck much smoother in terms of a more consistent win rate and dealing with all sorts of threats, then again this is just a casual deck. The deck isn't expensive by standard's standard, but it isn't super budgety. Let me know any advice you guys might have

Questions: - - Does the Mana curve seem bad? I mean it's mostly 2-3, should I have some more in the 4-5, like captain of the watch?
