This deck is working fairly well in its current state--as long as I can get a Blood Artist and a sac engine on the board, it's fairly easy to either combo drain the opponent to death, or play defensively and chump block with the sacrifice fodder to achieve nearly the same result. I've included the two Zealous Persecution as an alt win condition--it's a soft board wipe, and with enough tokens, a potentially lethal combat trick to boot.

I currently do not have a sideboard constructed--that seems to be the ideal next step. It seems prudent to include more spot removal and discard there to swap in if needed, but I lack the metagame knowledge to really capitalize on this (what to swap out and when, etc.) I was thinking it would be a good idea to put a few Burrenton Forge Tenders (to use into Burn players), Tragic Slips/Fatal Pushes, and Inquisitions in to achieve this.

I'm also looking for input on the mana base, as I'm still kind of inexperienced at this. Until now, I've been running 24 lands, but in this iteration I cut it down to 22. Was this a good call?

I've included all the cards I'm curious about in the Maybeboard, but I am still looking to keep this deck fairly budget. As such, Dark Confidant, Marsh Flats, Athreos, etc. are probably out of the question for the time being, but I thought I would include them regardless.
