{B}{G} Golgari Shadow {B}{G}

Midrange Rock deck incorporating Death's Shadow.

Death's Shadow gets dangerous quickly. Many times he can become bigger than goyf for 1 less mana. Life points are just numbers anyway.

Tarmogoyf: Almost always at least a 4/5 for {1}{G}. Big boi.

Dark Confidant: My main man Bob hooks me up with cards and quickly makes Death's Shadow viable.

Scavenging Ooze is a multifaceted champ. He is frequently more powerful than Goyf, gains a bit of useful life, and most importantly provides targeted GY hate.

Assassin's Trophy, Abrupt Decay, Maelstrom Pulse and Fatal Push kill all the things.

Thoughtseize & Inquisition of Kozilek pick apart opponents’ plans without mercy.

Liliana of the Veil is amazing and so fun. She is a control engine that can single handedly keep an opponent oppressed.

This deck is pretty much a collection of my favorite cards in the Modern format and is very fun to play. I have never liked building or playing someone else’s ideas and this is really a special home brew for me. +1 if you like it.
