Deck :

+1/+1 counters and counter synergies matter in this fun Hardened Scales wennie deck that looks to win the game with a versatile mix of combat tricks that include creature buffs, life gain and creature recursion via special ability Eternalize and Devoted Crop-Mate.

Creatures:

• Llanowar Elves (ramp)
• Adorned Pouncer (double strike, eternalize) Gets exponentially better with each +1/+1 counter due to double strike.
• Duskwatch Recruiter   (creature card draw)
• Lone Rider   (first strike, lifelink) Synergy with Pledge of Unity as gets opportunities to flip into It That Rides as One more efficiently.
• Resilient Khenra (ETB buff, eternalize) Synergy with Adorned Pouncer due to double strike and when in graveyard an instant speed combat trick with Devoted Crop-Mate attacking on the battlefield. Give it or any other attacking creature a +2/+2 buff until end of turn.
• Devoted Crop-Mate (return target creature card with converted mana cost 2 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield)
• Shalai, Voice of Plenty (conditional hexproof,+1/+1 counter generator)

• You gain 3 life: The most efficient way to transform Lone Rider   into It That Rides as One.
• Put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control: Gives all creatures you control counters and triggers Hardened Scales.
