Yay. This is an esper control deck made to play in a competitive modern environment. It is trying to be as budget as possible. This deck is made to hold off your opponent for as long as possible and then come out swinging with large creatures. Deck Colors: I started out as a B/U control deck, but everybody said black was good, so I switched. It gives me access to more hand removal cards as well as esper charm. White gives me path to exile as well as some big hitters. Blue is the main control. It gives me counters and draw cards. Sadly I dont have access to bolt with these colors. Goyf isn't even on the table so green isn't so important. This deck needs a good hand when facing aggro. It either dies or the aggro runs out of steam. Usually the latter happens. Abzan and jund are sofar the hardest matches. They killed my creatures with lily and reused cards I countered. I usually win against death and taxes and grixis control. Its about 50/50 vs twin. My sideboard makes this deck very flexible. Jace and death's hold take care of aggro after t4 or 5. Sanctimony Just shuts down burn and goblin. Everytime they play a card i gain life. Stony silence takes out lantern and some affinity. Supreme verdict destroys all the masses like B/W tokens, goblin,elves and many more.The plan is that I counter everything and put counters on myth realized. Then when I run out of counters I draw more. Then swing with a 10/10 myth realized or baron and win.If they make their cards uncounterable, then I have to kill their creatures with cards like Path to Exile and Go for the Throat.
