A shapeshifter deck based on sacrificing to get either bigger creatures or changelings out. A bit different than mutate decks, and as far as I figure only works in sorcery speed. Need one green land, and one other colour to get started. The idea is to start out with playing either Guardian Gladewalker (GG) or Masked Vandal (MV) then use the artifact Pyre of Heroes and sacrifice either of them. Think of this as branching evolutionary choices. GG and MV can either branch out to Righteous Valkyrie or continue to Mistwalker (changeling). Righteous Valkyrie can later be sacrificed into Mistwalker if desired. From Mistwalker there are two branches: Calamity Bearer, and Litjara Kinseeker. Calamity Bearer could if desired be sacrificed into either Quakebringer or Moritte of the Frost. Litjara Kinseeker can be "evolved" into Quakebringer, Moritte of the Frost, Terror of the Peaks, or Wandering Archaic. Moritte of the Frost can be further sacrificed (if creature after having copied another creature) and become either Valkyrie Harbinger, Massacre Wurm, or Serpent of Yawning Depths. Any mana-fixing works, but recommend using several World Trees, Pathways, and possibly Triomes. The deck also have Maskwood Nexus to make "angels" for Righteous Valkyrie, and if you get to 10 mana + World Tree then every creature in the deck can come out at once. Bastion of Remembrance works somewhat with the Pyre of Heroes, but shouldn't be relied on, so might have to cut it? Cosmos Elixir works both to keep one alive and card-draw. Other card-draw is Opt, and Adventurous Impulse. A bit unsure if Valki God of Lies, and Covetous Urge, and Traitorous Greed belong in the deck. To get creatures out of the graveyard there's The Cauldron of Eternity, and Raise the Draugr. Before sacrificing a creature, one can use Infuse With Vitality to get the sacrificed creature back on the battlefield (tapped). The lands I'm not sure about, but the Strixhaven Campus lands can be used for scrying in combination e.g. in combination with Cosmos Elixir.
'Magda, Brazen Outlaw' could possibly speed up some of the deck, but have been unable to test using her.
