I don't know if this is budget or not but one thing I can suggest to any mono color deck is Extraplanar Lens + Snow-Covered Plains this can get expensive.
But the additional Mana in mono White is extremely helpful.

Daru Warchief is a must have in any soldier tribal deck
Jazal Goldmane = Ezuri, Renegade Leader for white, no trample, but still pretty huge when you activate it multiple times
White really struggles with card draw so recursion effects like Sun Titan and Emeria Shepherd can help along with artifact card draw like Mind's Eye, Slate of Ancestry, and Skullclamp.
This isn't a truly devoted Darien deck because like you said you can switch out commanders and it wouldn't matter too much, but if you wanted a die hard Darien deck you could add these too
Blasting Station + 2 Soul Warden/Angelic Chorus effects equals infinite life
Pain lands work to your advantage by giving you soldiers. City of Brass, Tarnished Citadel, Grand Coliseum, Nomad Stadium, Ancient Tomb, and cards like Mana Vault. Add in a Soul Warden effect and the soldiers are free with no change in life total
You can play quirky cards like Jade Monolith to redirect damage to get more soldiers and Angel's Grace for a huge amount of soldiers when someone tries to one shot you with their Craterhoof Behemoth.
Being mono white gives you some slight advantages with mana producing cards like Caged Sun, Gauntlet of Power, and Extraplanar Lens + Snow-Covered Plains are really good for you.
I'm not a huge fan of Stony Silence here either, seems narrow. I mean I know everyone and their mother at least has a Sol Ring but even you have artifacts that would be shut off by it. I would say either remove those artifacts so that you are not turning off your own cards or take Stony Silence out and throw in some good artifacts like Sol Ring, Mind Stone, Mana Vault, ect...
