I improved the mana base so it is a bit quicker to get going. Also I added a few cards. I changed Niv-Mizzet Dracogenius to the Firemind. Then I added Wheel of Fortune. There are a few smaller cards that I also added in for more draw card cards.

  • Anger - drop out.

  • Lightning Greaves - drop in. (Haste engine with low cmc and zero equipment cost plus can protect most important creature from spot removal)

Not a lot of new graveyard shenanigans came with the new Commander set. Some changes were made for more efficient versions of cards with some other cool cards.
Overwhelming Stampede > Pathbreaker Ibex - Had problems trying to set up with this so just casting it in the same turn and getting to swing is much better. Ramunap Excavator > Wood Elves - With the self mill and fetch lands, this has a lot more utility. Altar of Dementia > Yahenni, Undying Partisan - Yahenni didn't really provide anything other than a sac outlet. This gives self mill to get cards in our graveyard quicker. Aid from the Cowl > Vraska the Unseen - Revolt is easy to trigger so hitting a big creature or land is awesome advantage. Vraska didn't really do anything other than destroy a non land permanent. Vindictive Lich > Catacomb Sifter - This is ultimate value especially when you can reanimate this creature. Hit opponents on every front which can be versatile at any point in the game. Catacomb didn't really provide anything useful and seemed underwhelming. Deathreap Ritual > Disciple of Bolas - More efficient card draw at the cost of gaining life. Noxious Gearhulk > Acidic Slime - Single target creature removal and lifegain was becoming more necessary than destroying non creature permanents. Torment of Hailfire > Lightning Greaves - With the ramp this deck can have, casting this for a big X cost can finish the game plus it has cool looking art with the added benefit of opponents sacrificing stuff which can be good for us. Haste wasn't really necessary in this deck nor was the shroud.

Mainly mana base

Cut some slower less consistent lands for Exotic Orchard, Mana Confluence, City of Brass and Reflecting Poolfoil. Also adjusted the Swamp - Island ratio. Cut 1 land to add Fellwar Stone, and cut Reconstruction (too situational) for Jace, Vryn's Prodigy  Flip.

I decided to make a budget version of this deck, for those looking to get into modern for <$100. I had to cut Heritage Druid, Chord of Calling and Collected Company, which leads to a more beatdown focused route, but I think it could still be powerful. Link in the description.

Also changed 1x Craterhoof Behemoth in this deck to a fourth Elvish Visionary as per icehit6's suggestion (now that I have Westvale Abbey  Flip as a backup plan.

removed 1 commune and 2 savers sanctuary for 1 more abrade and 2 ixalans binding. i wanted more removal in the deck. why still 2 cast out? the flash and cycling are still relevant against vehicles and general deck function. Binding is very strong to cast on the opponents cast out ;) and abrade is great removal. i found the sanctuary is good but not reliable enough. i dont want to rely on my opponent to give me card draw, so more removal on my call is better i feel. ive preordered most of the deck but the alphas and ripjaws were already out of stock. trying to trade hard so i can play paper fnm asap and finalize this deck!! thank you everyone for commenting and helping me test and suggestions for playtesting. the original list looks quite different to what we have here.

Pacification Array ---> Renegade Map

I feel like the manabase is in a good spot for the most part, but Pacification Array doesn`t help our consistency or want to be used in the early game. Renegade Map, on the other hand, helps to shore up a weakness, thin our deck, and give us another thing to do Turn 1.
