Sideboard

Maybeboard

Wanted to make a spin on a Wurm deck I use to play back in vintage-premodern but for commander for my LGS. Using all mostly all my older cards I wanted to utilize some different mechanics and then adapt it to suit the commander format with some newer additions, as well as changes and side boarding. (Suggestions welcome)

Johan the commander will allow Wurms to attack and not Tap (A sudo Vigilance, thus big beefy attack and defense with lots of trample) Fierce Empath + Krosan Drover Will allow me to use Johan in place of other commanders and summon them out for less.

While Goblin Anarchomancer + Thornscape Familiar will allow for reduction in possibly needing all mana colors at all times being forest heavy.

Updates Add

After constructing this deck about a month or so ago, and constantly making small adjustments changes to it out of necessity due to it not performing optimally in commander format, tonight this deck closed out a victory against two other decks in a single turn which was enjoyable to see Johan’s Wurms stomp! Especially against one opponents heavy mill deck that had my deck down to just 4 cards, and that had me constantly chucking away any new tempo.

The deck sits right now around ?43-47 Land and this I think may have been one of my only saving graces, because even milling almost all of my deck I had enough at the start to get going. I have been exploring it with more lands, than most might, in it for this style of deck without and sol rings or rocks. Instead allow the deck to play more natural lands per turns and it feels much better and natural for its style as well as more flexible. All suggestions welcome! Thanks! Win one and two for Johan and the Wurms’ ! Stomp them into the Dirt!
