What cards are you going to miss most?

I'm super-excited about Kaladesh, but am really going to miss Dragons of Tarkir and Origins.

What cards are y'all going to miss most after rotation?

I'd also love to hear your stories explaining why!

As for me: Hangarback Walker for sure.

I've been a Thopter fan ever since the original Ornithopter, and despite being a magnet for Exile effects, Hangarback was still one of the very best two-drops in Standard.

Jace's Sanctum, because I'm an awful person who plays Blue Prison.

Clash of Wills, it was amazing in my spirit deck and kaladesh doesn't have anything on par to it.

DriftWood96 and EpicFreddi,
I was always on the other side of the table from Languish and CoCo, so frankly am not remotely going to miss them! :-P

GoldGhost012 and IsThisWolfe,
Yeah, I'm gonna miss those too, especially Clash. And that makes me realize how much I'm going to miss Baby Jace  Flip ...

Atony1400,
On Ultimate Price, I think I'm only going to miss the frustrated looks on my opponent's face the first time he or she realizes it doesn't hit Hangarback! :-)

But yeah, I'm definitely going to miss Lightning Berserker. Immune to Sorcery-speed removal when Dashed in and completely bonkers late game. Wow, that card was fun ...

I loved playing fringe cards during this last standard so I'll miss Corpseweft. Coolest token ever.

Dragonlord Silumgar, Sidisi, Undead Vizier, and Liliana, Heretical Healer  Flip are a few others that I'll miss.

Definitely going to miss the Command Cycle from DTK. Mostly Ojutai's Command and my favorite: Kolaghan's Command. I would say I'll miss Dromoka's Command since I played a lot of Bant CoCo this year, but the card has been insane in Standard since it was printed and was always heavily played so I'm not so upset that it will be gone :p

Also can't forget about Hangarback Walker and Pia and Kiran Nalaar! Loved those cards!

Ladies and Gentlemen let us take a moment to mourn the passing of our friend, Rogue's Passage.

How will we squeeze through huge amounts of final damage now?

I'm going to miss Dragonlord Ojutai. I don't think he saw enough play in SOI/EMN standard

Having played some Kaladesh now ...

Argeaux,
I think I'm with you now: Rogue's Passage would be SO good in so many of the new decks. And Key to the City is just not even close :-(

IzzetGod,
So is it just me, or is it bizarre that we had WAY more Thopters running around in Origins than on actual Kaladesh?

JaceArveduin,
Yeah, Assault Formation was awesome. The 100% pure jank of having it, Goldnight Castigator, Shape the Sands, and Tree of Perdition all in Standard at the same time was just a joy!

Oddly enough, I ended up taking the Castigator's out of my builds, since it's pretty dead in creature matchups and is a 4drop against control decks.

Oh, and assform was actually really good in token decks, since most tokens are x/x anyway you ended up with 2G: Every creature you control gains +1/+1, which isn't huge if you're playing on curve and such, but when you have 10 1/1 tokens the extra damage adds up.

Narset! My favourite card in that standard period by a long margin! Made so many bad cards into actually pretty good or fun cards just by being able to cast them twice over. Made some crazy board states, and just allowed a lot of creative deckbuilding.

On the last day of standard I was playing superfriends.dec, rebounded Deploy the Gatewatch and made an army of 40 vampires off Sorin a few turns later, who all got a counter from Nissa (my opponent was on a life gain strategy, that didn't go so well!). I look forward to her appearing in the story in future.

I also miss the flavourful Kaladesh cards from Origins that didn't see a reprint. And the baby planeswalkers. But not Jace. (sorry jace)
