I usually stick to EDH however, I pulled two Sliver Hive and a Chord of Calling from my fat pack and figured I might as well make a Standard deck. After some trading and lucky bids on eBay, I managed to build this deck to use for the rest of the summer.The main objective is get Sliver Hivelord on the field and keep it there. Chord of Calling can get me which ever sliver I need for varying situations. I only have one Thorncaster Sliver because of its mana cost but do hope I can pull off the sick combo with Venom Sliver. I included both blue Slivers, Galerider Sliver for evasion and Diffusion Sliver to keep my team on the field. Cyclonic Rift in case I need to bounce exile permanents like Detention Sphere or an annoying Planeswalker. I still need to get a couple copies of Mana Confluence and one more Sliver Hive but the mana base seems fine for now. If I can get the corresponding shocklands or painlands, I'll switch out a temple or two.

Went 1-3 but had fun with the slivers. All of my opponents enjoyed seeing someone use slivers. I managed to get Sliver Hivelord on turn four and caused my opponent to scoop. The main weakness is I need more things to clear the path for the slivers to do their damage. At one point my opponent and I went 6 turns going back and forth not attacking, he was powering up his Planeswalkers and I was making tokens hoping to get a Cyclonic Rift (both were at the bottom :/). I've added 2 more Cyclonic Rifts and 3 void snares. I am debating adding a set of Aetherspouts since it wrecks my opponents tempo and clears the field. I also may need to add at least one Bonescythe Sliver and one Siphon sliver since one of my opponents used Slaughter Games to remove Sliver Hivelord from my deck wrecking the rest of my match and I was taking more damaged from Mana Confluence and Shocklands than anything else. Some suggested I add the pain lands so I only have to take damage once. There is another Standard tournament on Tuesday so I'll see if I can get new stuff in time for Round 2.
