A aggressive Eldrazi deck designed around burning your opponent with agro type creatures and ramping up into something big.
See update block for change #3.
Awards:From a friend: "Wow that's spicy! Not what I was expecting."
Goal: To provide an agro start while ramping up into a bigger card.
Turn one: Mountain
Turn two: Shrine of the Forsaken Gods - cast Scrapheap Scrounger
Turn three: Mountain - cast Vile Aggregate - attack with Scrapheap Scrounger
So on
Change #1: Problem:
Molten Nursery is to slow. With great sorrow, I swap this card for
Vile Aggregate.
Vile Aggregate gets bigger with the more creatures we play. It is also, at the minim, a 1/5 with trample for 3. Hopeful this helps us buy some time.
Change #2: Herald of Kozilek is pretty awesome. We now have to add in blue, but the benefit is great. A problem with Conduit of Ruin was that it was removed easily well, by removal. Herald gives us more options to reduce the cost of ALL colorless spells. Not to mention the effect stacks. Going also try out Saheeli Rai for the scry. Making copies of our cards help too.
Change #3: Adding in sire of stangation. We get both much need card draw off of it and can play it as soon as turn!. I decide to make this deck UBR so that i have access to more removal. Still debating green for the crads that allow use to protect our cards with hexproof.
Thoughts and comments are welcomed. I'm going be taking this deck to FNM hopefully.
- Round 1: Vampire Madness: not enough removal(lost)
Changes made: Changes to mana pool.
FNM2Round 1: Bye
Round 2: lost to bw flicker (0- 2)Game 1: mana stalledGame 2: thought knot seer my hand
Round 3: WB: Overwealmed (0-2)
Round 4: Humans: Lost (1-2) - Got to use Emrakul, the Promised End before she got banned. :)
Thoughts: Deck is to slow.
Comments and suggestions are welcomed. This deck won't rotate out until the new block gets here, so time is going into this deck. Thoughts on branching out into black for more control and removal?
