RUG Control w/ a Twist (Standard MTG Deck)

Liquimetal Coating based deck. Make all their lands lands, creatures, planeswalkers, and enchantments artifacts so you take control. I made this is to make people rage lol. Started as a joke but I really want to make this FNM competitive. Loaded with Whipflares and Slagstorm s to help with the ridiculous number of human/token decks. I love the concept and want to make it ass good as possible.

Before FNM on 5/11 I changed the colors to RUG and loved the results. It adds even more control. Mana Leak help beginning threats so I can save my Slagstorm s and Think Twice and Ponder help me dig. I loved what Frost Titan did and there wasn't 1 time I was mad when I drew a Snapcaster Mage.

On 5/31 I made changes to help with Delver of Secrets , Champion of the Parish, and mana dorks. Also changed sb. I will test on 6/1 at fnm, Also bringing to TCGplayer event on 6/2.

1sr Match - R/G Burn - First game I killed it. No one seems to be able to grasp how to play against this in the first round. Destroyed all red sources and ramped Frosty up to win it. Second game went extremely long, so we only played two games. This game he put me down to 5 and had a Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded. Couldn't kill it and he drew to a Vexing Devil. RESULT 1-1

2nd Match - R/G Humans - He played around soulbond, so I like the match. He paired we creatures while I worked his lands. Board wipe, followed by Tamiyo, the Moon Sage getting her emblem. So that was a wrap with infinite destruction. Second match I played a one land hand with Ponder and it failed me lol. Third was a repeat of the first. Once I get the emblem, they might as well scoop. RESULT 2-1

3rd Match - White Flying - Deck was terrible. She crowded her board, I wiped it, Tamiyo went to work. RESULT 2-0

4th Match - B/R Vampires - Same guy I played last week. He changed SB because of me which I thought was flattering. He scooped turn three the first game after I blew up his only mountain. Second I mulled to 5 this game. He got got his Falkenwrath Aristocrat which I could do nothing about until my turn. Third game I stabilized late game and had my Snapcaster Mage Kessig Wolf Run got the win. RESULT 2-1

Overall: 3-0-1 Gonna keep trying. I like the strategy and I think with the right match ups I have a good chance at going 4-0
