Rakdos 8-rack (Modern MTG Deck)

8-rack with red for Blightning , Lightning Bolt and Anger of the Gods. The burn from Blightning and Lightning Bolt gives me extra reach at the end of close games in addition to the removal/discard effects. Red also gives me access to Rix Maadi, Dungeon Palace to give me another mana sink to discard that gets around Leyline of Sanctity

Thoughtseize, Inquisition of Kozilek, Liliana of the Veil, and the racks are pretty self explanatory.

Blightning seems better to me than Wrench Mind since it always grabs 2 cards and still does damage if my opponent's hand is empty.

Raven's Crime is one of the deck's most powerful discard engines, and makes top decked lands useful in the late game.

sideboard choices:

Rakdos Charm fairly self explanatory, good against affinity, Splinter Twin

Demon's Horn /dragon claw help give me incrimental lifegain in the burn matchup, still deciding which is better to use.

Extirpate to give me more ways to interact with Scapeshift , Mindslaver and other combo decks.

Blood Moon to punish mana bases greedier than mine (abzan, zoo) and lock out tron decks.

Duress for matchups like burn, storm where removal is not needed and extra targeted discard is helpful.

Torpor Orb shuts down Splinter Twin, abzan and Snapcaster Mage

Coming back to play 8-rack after DTK since it seems like a potential meta killer in modern after DTK. The matchup against abzan and twin is favorable as well as the other combo decks floating around. The deck is potentially weak to burn and infect, so the sideboard will probably need to be adjusted accordingly.
