So... I played an FNM the other night, and I went 0-6. All three opponents who beat me played some variation of red deck wins with Glorybringer at the helm. That pissed me off. This is my answer for next week.

It is heavily based on a BW deck played by channingtaters I found on mtggoldfish, which I tuned to handle my LGS more effectively. And shhhhh, I know it's rotating soon.

Update: this deck went 2-2 in the last fnm.

2-0 against cat tribal shenanigans. Easy match really.. not much to say.

1-2 against gruul ramp. Turn 4 glory bringer game one, had no authority or removal. Killed my Gideon, killed me. Game 2 I was able to deck in stone 2 verdurous gearhulks and swing in for the win. Game 3 was a repeat of game one.

0-2 against Abzan tokens. That deck counters this one fairly hard. No amount of 5/5 ponies is enough to break through, and deck in stone couldn't hit enough tokens when he had 3-4 types at any given time. Avacyn never showed up post sideboard. I think I'll add another to the side for this matchup. Sorin also would have helped, but never showed up either.

2-0 against rakdos Aggro. Easiest match of the night. Didn't sideboard, didn't even have to think...

Glory bound initiate was underwhelming at best. To many combat tricks to make him waste an exert and come up empty handed. Lone rider was also mediocre at best. Rarely flipped, never landed a shot past fatal pushes and cuts.

Need more blessed aliances. Fantastic performance.

Looking for more good drops in grindy games where I stalemate. Sorin and avacyn are good, but rotating soon. I can't rely on them
