This deck has been built around the pre-ban design which uses the Become Immense + Temur Battle Rage combo. While losing Gitaxian Probe did take away some of the deck's fuel, it did not really diminish it's aggressive value. So, I still run the same design as it was before the ban.

I can still pull off a Turn 3 Kill with some regularity. Turn 2 is even still possible but is extremely remote (~2-3% chance) and something I have yet to actually pull off. I still run this regularly at my LGS Modern Nights with frequent success. There are a few decks of weakness against this deck, but overall I seem to be the one to beat most nights.

Pre-SB, there are 35 spells that can be cast for one mana or less.

Postmortem Lunge was a card I brought in for a bit of fun as well as a fall-back plan. Used early-game to fetch back Vexing Devil, it could augment the deck to essentially play 9 copies of "Lightning Bolt or better" burn spells. No one ever lets the Devil stick around. In late game, it had some value by allowing creatures to return as an added attacker; a bit of flexibility. After some play time, I decided to take it out for Tainted Strike to see what it could do instead.
Fatal Push has been a successful upgrade over Dismember; While the latter does feed Death's Shadow, it also starts pushing a fine line of just how much damage I want to deal myself, so It is now used as added removal from the SB.

I have seen success in running Spellskite for added value in Death's Shadow as well as protection when lethal is threatening the opponent. So I've moved to 3 copies MB for now.

So, after multiple matches at my LGS, GP Charlotte, and Gen Con 2016, I decided to take a look at making some changes to the deck. Sitting just above a 50% win rate, I wanted to see what could be done to make this deck bigger and better.

I already knew the deck had multiple ways to play a Turn 3 Kill, and while it doesn't happen often it still happens. I was curious if there is a possible Turn 2 Kill. While I know it would be even more rare to pull off than a Turn 3 Kill, I wanted to see if I could find a way, and I did. This play needs only 9 cards to execute, and the likelihood of my opponent being able to disrupt it is possible (It is modern, after all), but very unlikely.

Turn 1: Fetch Land into Blood Crypt untapped, then a play of 3 Gitaxian Probe / Street Wraith - it doesn't matter which just any combination of 6 life loss and draw 3 cards. Finish with a Death's Shadow and pass the turn.
Turn 2: Fetch Land into any shock land, untapped. Then any two cards that require 2 life to cast, only one needs be a Mutagenic Growth. Attack with Death's Shadow and finish with Temur Battle Rage.

At the end of Turn 2, you will have paid 16 life, making Death's Shadow a 9/9.
One Mutagenic Growth increases that to 11/11.
Temur Battle Rage finishes off your opponent by doing 22 trampling damage.

So, I have adjusted the deck to help better focus on this rare but still powerful potential:
2 Windswept Heaths replaced with 2 Arid Mesa (Marsh Flats is a slightly cheaper alternative, but either land guarantees your first Fetch will always crack for a Blood Crypt)
1 Gitaxian Probe replacing 1 Thoughtsieze
1 Street Wraith replacing the Mountain (You could also take out a Lightning Bolt instead)

So I will be making these changes and taking this to events in the near future.
