Naya Reclamation

Gameplan:

Outvaluing the opponent is crucial. Other Wilderness Reclamation decks have the inevitability of Nexus of Fate or the combo ability of Expansion//Explosion. What this deck attempts to do is bring out as much versatility as possible by using an absurd amount of mana and a series of cards that keep on giving. To better explain Naya Reclamation, I want to highlight the main pieces.

Wilderness Reclamation- Seedborn Muse as an enchantment is nothing to scoff at. What I did, and I imagine others have as well, is picture paying insanely high x costs on instant spells. Well, while this deck does that, it also utilizes activated abilities.Dawn of Hope becomes a value engine that is almost unbeatable, and Zacama is practically a board wipe when he comes down. Also untaps a flipped Treasure Map right away and allows two Arch of Orazca activations which is neat.

Electrodominance- On the surface this is a combo oriented card with Wilderness Reclamation. Where it differs is in its utility outside of the combo. Versus control, it’s a way to flash in important spells when they tap out. Most commonly for Chemister’s Insight. All it takes is one well placed Dawn of Hope or The Immortal Sun to shut them down.

Zacama, Primal Calamity- Play. untap. Activate at least three abilites. Reclamation untaps all lands again. Activate at least three more. The card is great almost all the time. Versus mono blue tempo or any aggro deck, this is an instant win.

Dawn of Hope- This one is for you control. Hope draws us much needed cards, it creates an army of its own and ups its production with reclamation. Also pairs oh so nicely with The Immortal sun.

Ways to win

  1. Make a ton of tokens form March of Multitude, hopefully paired with The Immortal Sun
  2. Huge Electrodominance
  3. Dawn of Hope generating an army of tokens, hopefully paired with The Immortal Sun
  4. The most unlikely, Zacama attacking the opponent for the win

Hope any readers enjoy the brew! Leave any feedback if you feel inclined.

edit The list has seen several changes. It’s more accurate to think of the build as a controlling archtype. In doing so, I decided to include Thaumatic compass to help with survivability while also playing nicely with reclamation. To the same effect, response//resurgence as a way to stop early threats and double down as a combo win in late game.
