My somewhat budget version of the Modern Shape Anew deck. The basic strategy is to use various cards like Blade Splicer and Thopter Engineer to create cheap artifact tokens, then sacrifice the token to Shape Anew to fetch the one copy of Blightsteel Colossus directly onto the battlefield.

The great thing about the deck is that it has a viable game plan even if the colossus gets removed somehow, with classic Jeskai control elements like Path to Exile & Lightning Bolt playing strong removal game. Both Pia and Kiran Nalaar and Whirler Rogue can utilize your tokens to end the game, so it manages to hold its own if it needs to play a fair game.

The biggest difference between this version and the inspiration deck at the link below is budget. The mana base here is much more budget, and I had to skip putting in the 3 Snapcaster Mage and 2 Restoration Angel. That said, since both are being reprinted very soon in the next Modern Masters release, I may start incorporating those back in.

Overall I've had a lot of fun with this deck. It's not Tier-1 by any means, but it's a fun Modern deck that often catches people off guard.
