I think I found my new favourite deck. Basically it's an excuse to play my favourite cards wich are Huntmaster of the Fells
, Courser of Kruphix, Tireless Tracker
, and now Ilharg, the Raze-Boar.
The shell is awesome. It's not very competitive but you can win by turn 4 or 5 pretty consistently. The deck is not tuned yet.
We can a crapton of mana pretty fast with all our dorks, but while the usual rhythm stompy goes face with titans, we go woodland bellowers for the utility (it's probably less effective, but there are some cool lines allowing you to win out of nowhere).
Some keys interactions:
Ilharg, the Raze-Boar can "cast" the End-Raze Forerunners freely. We can get Ilharg by hardcasting it (pretty easy) or with eldricht evolution. The forerunners can be hardcasted too anyway because we have tons of mana.
Woodland Bellower can fetch Mwonvuli Beast Tracker wich can in turn fetch Ilharg, the Raze-Boar or End-Raze Forerunners.
The Huntmaster of the Fells
is my favourite card, it's extra good here for Eldritch Evolution and the enter the battlefield effect.
We have some 3 drops silverbullets wich are pretty self-explanatory.
Rhythm of the Wild glues everything together allowing for some really explosive turn.
Some lines wich wins out of nowhere usually look like this.
turn 5, I already have Rhythm of the Wild in play with 7 mana available, and my hand is Huntmaster of the Fells
, Eldritch Evolution and End-Raze Forerunners.
Play huntmaster, sac it to eldricht evolution, get Ilharg, attack while dropping the forerunners for a million.
Too bad Craterhoof Behemoth can not be fetched because Fierce Empath is not legal.
