I wanted to play Jund in Modern, but would never have the $2,000 necessary to do so. So I set out to recreate the Modern Jund experience in Pauper.

After extensive playtesting, it was just too much to run three colors, even with Ash Barrens, other fetches, and the gain lands. So I ultimately settled on homebrewing Golgari Midrange. Ideally, the deck wants to feel like Modern Jund, with powerful discard, undercosted creatures and high card value. I'd appreciate ideas on how I can increase the card quality and general match ups. This deck often loses to blue-based builds of big meta decks, so help against Delver variants would be great. I am also missing a couple cards in the sideboard, which are temporarily being filled by Relic of Progenitus. Another key aspect of the deck is wanting to curve out: discard or DBD on turn one, Putrid Leech turn two, Rager or Read the Bones turn three, and a Blastoderm turn four.

Important synergies: Pulse of Murasa targeting Blastoderm or cycle/fetch land Duty-Bound Dead buffing early Putrid Leech (having a 5/5 on turn 3)
