Intro

Solphim, Mayhem Dominus is a Phyrexian commander that protects itself and doubles damage making burn possible in a multiplayer format.

Dragon's Approach can capitalize on that doubled damage and generate card advantage by cheating dragons into play.

This a classic glass cannon burn deck quickly ratcheting up damage each turn instead of assembling combo pieces for one explosive turn.

How to Play

1. Ramp.
2. Play Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and add an indestructible counter.
3. Play Dragon's Approach burn spells.
4. Cast your fifth Dragon's Approach spell (30 damage to opponents so far) and cheat into play Knollspine Dragon to fill your hand up with 6 more cards or Red Dragon for 8 more damage.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all opponents are scorched.

How to Win

1. Play Dragon's Approach while Thrumming Stone is on the battlefield.
2. Play Dragon's Approach and put Themberchaud into play for X damage to close out the game.
3. Burn damage as doubled by Solphim, Mayhem Dominus.

Card Choices

• 35x Dragon's Approach is the magic number for Thrumming Stone to be lethal. And as much as this is an extreme critical mass deck, each of those spells deal 6 damage to each opponent with Solphim, Mayhem Dominus in play AND every 5th Dragon's Approach is a free dragon which is a great way to solve the card advantage limits in mono red.
• Earthquake, Fault Line, and Rolling Earthquake are board wipes that don't hurt our commander and deal damage to opponents. Sorry Blasphemous Act!
• The dragons in this deck are Avaricious Dragon, Knollspine Dragon and Dragon Mage to refill our hand, then Red Dragon and Themberchaud for even more double damage to opponents.
• SufferFromEDHD has an interesting build featuring mana reducers like Catalyst Stone, Locket of Yesterdays, Semblance Anvil, Spellbinding Soprano and Ruby Medallion with payoffs like Backdraft Hellkite, Harness the Storm, and Past in Flames.
