Lion's Eye Diamond + Cursed Scroll + Ensnaring Bridge + Null Brooch = my recent obsession for the engine of decks.

This is a Dragon's Approach deck. Thrumming Stone is the obvious engine but now Harness the Storm and Pyromancer Ascension can finally find a home in EDH! These 3 cards plus Spellweaver Helix are the main points for abusing Dragon's Approach to maximum effect.

The 4 Dragon's Approach tutor targets are:

  1. Backdraft Hellkite first target. If the attack trigger goes off you should win.

  2. Knollspine Dragon if enters the battlefield there is potential for a win in the second main phase.

  3. Goldspan Dragon much needed ramp in a color that struggles.

  4. Avaricious Dragon is your defensive option. Feeds Ensnaring Bridge on opponents turn and an additional card on your turn.

Catalyst Stone, Locket of Yesterdays, Semblance Anvil, Spellbinding Soprano and Ruby Medallion round out the mana reducers to speed up the clock for burning out opponents.

Cursed Scroll is the subtle silent sniper. 20 basic mountains and 30 Dragon's Approach make the odds forever in our favor. 2 colorless damage is surprisingly useful even in a burn deck.
