Sideboard

So wizards decided to ban Treasure Cruise and it has really changed the way a lot of the top modern decks work. This deck is hoping to be still playable without cruise.

Feel free to comment, upvote, and playtest. Hope you enjoy!

The spells:

Lightning Bolt: ahhhhh good old lightning bolt.

Lava Spike: it's a Lightning Bolt except it only goes straight to the opponents face.

Rift Bolt : its almost a Lightning Bolt. almost...

Atarka's Command: at worst its a Skullcrack, at best it deals 7+ damage for 2 mana.

Searing Blaze: kills their creature and usually deals them 3 damage.

Mutagenic Growth: can deal that extra last bit of damage and saves our creatures from Lightning Bolt.

Lightning Helix: bolts the opponent and keeps us in the game, especially nice to help reduce the punch Eidolon of the Great Revel gives us.

Boros Charm: used mainly for 4 damage to the face but I suppose the other abilities could be relevant.

Skullcrack: because lifegain is annoying

The creatures:

Goblin Guide: the main beater of this deck, as we don't really care how many lands the opponent has in hand.

Monastery Swiftspear: the other beater in this deck, and can get scarily large after you have played a lot of burn spells.

Eidolon of the Great Revel: it'll hurt us more than it will hurt them (probably) but combined with lots of burn this card can whittle their life total very fast.

The lands:

Arid Mesa: thins out my deck and gets me whatever land I need.

Wooded Foothills: same as Arid Mesa.

Sacred Foundry: manafixing, and as we don't really care abou the two damage, if this drops turns one to three, chances are it'll be untapped.

Stomping Ground: same as wooded foohills.

Clifftop Retreat: manafixing.

Mountain: this deck is mostly red...

the sideboard:

Anger of the Gods: a great sweeper, useful against very creature heavy decks, plus it has great artwork.

Rain of Gore: what do we hate? lifegain!

Destructive Revelry: kills annoying artifacts and enchantments like Leyline of Sanctity Dragon's Claw and Sanctimony while dealing the opponent damage. it is also good against affinity.

Rest in Peace: a very good card, hates on many strategies including cards like Tasigur, the Golden Fang, Gurmag Angler Murderous Cut and Thought Scour, just to name a few. it also hoses any kind of reanimator strategy.

Molten Rain: good old fashioned land destruction, with a little damage thrown in.

Searing Blaze: I sort of already explained this one...

Path to Exile: arguably the best removal in modern, this versatile card gets rid of most threats.

Blood Crypt : allows us to cast our black sideboard spells.

Surgical Extraction this card is good in a lot of matchups, but really shines against grixis control, which is a big chunk of my meta, as yu can exile many of the crds they put in their graveyard with Thought Scour, hopefully even hitting a Gurmag Angler.
