The Deck

There was a one month period in which Field of the Dead and Scapeshift exists before rotation. It was the most busted deck I've ever piloted on arena (8-0 undefeated). The only reason it wasn't banned is due to rotation. Can this deck adapt to Pioneer and compete with the likes of atarka red, copycat combo, or aetherworks marvel? This is my take on Bant Scapeshift adapted into Pioneer. The goal is to ramp into Scapeshift (instant speed with Teferi, Time Raveler ) to generate a bunch of zombies to win. Rinse and repeat with Elixir of Immortality if needed. Sideboard transformation into a more control shell.

Notable Card Choices

• Arboreal Grazer / Elvish Rejuvenator / Sylvan Caryatid : Early game ramp and chump blocker for fast aggro.
• Hydroid Krasis : Provides a great mana sink for late game reach to refuel with all the ramp.
• Elixir of Immortality : A clutch that comes in handy against heavy control/discard decks.
• Time Wipe : Cast it to not only wipe the board, but to also get another use out of a ramp creature or krasis.
• Teferi, Time Raveler : Instant speed Scapeshift and prevents interaction on my turn to seal the deal.
