The biggest weakness I've always found with this deck is that it has only one win condition, and that win condition
only works one time. Also, the card quality is low, with tons of fluff in cards like Search for Tomorrow. The last place
this deck wants to be is in top deck mode.
I'm looking to the recent successes of Temur Twin and Grixis Moon decks. These decks either dilute or eliminate their
Combo for better draw quality. In effect, they are pre-sideboarded for twin/delver mirrors, with additional win cons.
Possible win conditions for this deck:
--Keranos : probably my choice since it doesn't die to removal and provides card advantage.
--Batterskull : good card but does not match up well against Tasigur or Kologhan's Command. Could be paired with academy ruins.
--Tarmogoyf : I love this card and it's the best answer to opposing Goyfs and Tasigurs. Without a density if threats, though, this is
Answered.
--Thragtusk or Primeval Titan : powerful creatures but are better for proactive strategies.
For this purpose, I'm going with Keranos. It's almost impossible for most decks to deal with and literally impossible for grixis decks.
