This, is the new Fate Jeskai Burn.

Splashing black for the Crackling Doom was a great idea from TheHroth. The Crackling Doom hits their creature with the highest threat, plus that Goblin Rabblemaster that is now a 7/2 will get taken out. The black splash is perfect to add in a little more damage and make the deck balance out much better.

Monastery Mentor gets out of control very fast with this deck, putting out tons of tokens to swing through defenses or to chump block until your burn gets through.

Soulfire Grand Master is the real MVP, with the necessary lifegain in this format plus the awesome late game ability to put spells back in your hand after you cast them! Turn all your spells into Lightning Helix or Warleader's Helix for the low cost of 2 mana.

No one likes running a burn deck that lobs all their spells out and then has no way to replenish the hand, look no further, Ancestral Recall ... Whoops, I mean Treasure Cruise (practically the same thing) will fill that hand back up, and then Soulfire Grand Master will make sure you never have to lose another spell.

I took out Mantis Rider for Wild Slash to add in more consistency and because I honestly never really wanted to play Mantis Rider on turn three, or any turn really. I'd rather have more burn to trigger Monastery Mentor and the prowess those tokens and himself have. Plus, Shock is always a staple in a burn deck. And it better fuels Treasure Cruise than Mantis Rider ever could.
