Rise of the Dragons

Hello,

This is my take on a historic reanimator deck focusing on dragons. The idea is to put as many big creatures in the graveyard as possible in the early game with Stitcher's Supplier , Faithless Looting , Thrilling Discovery and Cathartic Reunion before bringing them back from the graveyard with Unburial Rites , which can be casted from the graveyard already on turn 4, Bond of Revival which brings them back with haste, or ideally with Rise of the Dark Realms casted by a reanimated Scholar of the Lost Trove to bring back everything at once.

Since the end game of the deck is to bring back every creatures in play at the same time, I tried to limit legendary creatures to 1 each because I don't want any value going to waste, the only exception is Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded because he's a haste enabler. We usually have several creatures in the graveyard already by the time we can reanimate one so it's also useful to have a nice selection for the situation instead of 4 copies of the same creature. The only creature in multiples are the enablers like Terror of the Peaks because much like Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded it lets us win on the same turn as we go off. Scholar of the Lost Trove is part of the main combo and can also cast other useful spells from the graveyard, and Stitcher's Supplier is a nice early blocker and fills up the graveyard very well too.

Any combination of the other big creatures tend to work really well and makes the deck a lot of fun to play. I won't go over every interactions but it's worth noting that while Velomachus Lorehold can cast reanimation or looting spells, it cannot cast Rise of the Dark Realms because it can only cast spells with CMC as high as its attack power.

Here's a quick game to show how the deck feels like to play:

Have fun!
