Instant

Discard your hand, then draw two cards.

capwner Haha yeah Dangerous Wager is a bit risky, but you're right it feels less risky than Cathartic Reunion at least more forgiving in a pinch. Also I totally forgot about the Mayhem mechanic thanks for bringing it to my attention!

Dangerous Wager sure is spicy... though ironically it's less dangerous to cast than Cathartic Reunion because the discard cost on Cathartic is so brutal when it's countered. Maybe consider Swarm, Being of Bees if you find yourself wanting more cheap madness creats?

Avaricious Dragon might be worth a spot.

Valakut Awakening  Flip could be upgraded to discard like Change of Fortune, Dangerous Wager or Dragon Mage.

Gamble great tutor to begin with by the random discard is an upside in this deck.

Null Brooch grants Negate to colors that can't Negate.

Dangerous Wager or Light Up the Stage may be a better "draw" spell.

Reverberate should definitely be an include in here, there's a lot of subtle interactions it would provide for the deck. First of all, it can be used to counter a counterspell. Next, you can copy Irencrag Feat and since the copy isn't being cast, yea, 14 mana for 6.

Temur Battle Rage is probably more efficient than some of your pump artifacts. While it may not technically double the power, it essentially does since it gives double strike, and trample if you are going to get blocked. Assault Strobe and Double Cleave would function similarly.

Titan's Strength is probably one of the better pump spells, since it gives you a scry. Scry and cantrips are the best things for combo decks like this because it offers more consistency.

Reckless Charge offers you the reusability of flashback if needed.

Dreadhorde Arcanist may be useful for recursion.

I’m all about a dragon deck, and I’m actually building one myself too. For all of these big, expensive dragons, I’d recommend: Living End, Violent Outburst, Dangerous Wager. Those 3 could make it so you just could discard all your big creatures and then throw them at the opponent all in one go. Maybe us Tormenting Voice as well to help draw and discard. Also Avaricious Dragon to help discard and draw.

I’d probably get rid of all the enchantments, and your instants, and sorceries, as well as any creatures that cost 3 or less to fully benefit from Violent Outburst’s cascade.

You also need something like Stomping Ground in your lands in order to be competitive in Modern!

Basically just cascade to Living End after discarding a few times, and then throw all your dragons out.

Not sure if it's a pet card (if so I totally get it, I do that too) but personally I'd drop the Tectonic Giants and put in 2 of the Lightning Bolts from your sideboard and then put 2 Blood Moons in the sideboard since the Giant isn't doing what your deck wants to do which is stack spells and mana as quick as possible to get one of your ETB or Storm combos going. It seems at best to only pull you some cards if it attacks or someone throws removal at it and it doesn't have haste.

Light Up the Stage , Magmatic Insight , Dangerous Wager , or Needle Drop would help keep the cards coming much faster.

I run a more burn-oriented deck with an elemental sub-theme that uses those cards and the Steam-Kin and it performs pretty well: Unpunctuated Fire

This is such a cool deck idea! My only thought would be maintaining enough cards in hand, especially given your number of 0 CMC cards that will likely be depleted immediately after Pia's Revolution is cast. I might consider adding some draw strength like Dangerous Wager or Magmatic Insight to supplement this, and keep you dropping artifacts on your opponents at a dangerous pace!

Honestly this is a really cool deck, great work!

I'll just respond to your comment on my wall here (easier to keep in one place).

1) Dangerous Wager only provides advantage when you have literally zero cards in hand. At that point, it is a +1. That's it. There are much better options to draw cards than it.

2) Herald's Horn and Vanquisher's Banner have to be evaluated similarly- how often are they going to trigger? If you're familiar with statistics, run the statistics on them to see how many triggers on average are going to happen. Of you're not trained in statistics, then test them out and keep track of how many times they trigger. If they aren't triggering enough to be worth their investment, they're not good enough. If they are, then they are. I don't know that you run enough soldiers for them to be good, so I'm a bit iffy on them myself.

3) Mangara, the Diplomat seems okay. It is a human, but if you're focusing on soliders, it's not a soldier. It's a decent card that will definitely draw you cards, but it won't synergize with the deck.

If you want to lean into soldiers, I would figure out all your soldier synergies first and make that robust, then I would look at what you have and determine what type of card draw works best for it. Boros usually draws cards in one of 3 ways- equipment, impulsive draw, or wheel effects. Each is good for different deck builds, so I would decide on what type of card draw is good after you have figured out wwhat the rest of your deck wants to do.
