Balaam__ after much deliberation, I think I've found some cards I would want to "collaborate" in the way you described:

  9. Chaos Moon
  10. Curse of Marit Lage

  12. Forgotten Lore
  13. Game of Chaos
  14. Illusionary Terrain
  15. Kjeldoran Escort

It was so hard to wittle my list down to only 15 choices but I wanted to pick stuff from a large timespan; I know how you favor older, more flavorful cards!

Throughout the list you'll see things from throughout Homelands, Ice Age, and the like.

Admittedly some were not as strong picks as others in terms of building, but each one I chose for a bit of flavor, and a bit of "hey this card never gets love".

I hope these seem like appealing choices because I think each has a little "fringe-casual-upset-win-at-the-kitchen-table" kinda vibe.

The ultimate chad deck and absolute blast to play Kaervek the Merciless. Spam your deck with creature sweepers like Pyroclasm and Anger of the Gods and Damnation to slow down the extremely creature heavy meta and BTFO elf mana. Run a suite of mana rocks and accelerators/rituals to power out your high CMC commander. Run cards that do well in longer games and stalled out boards, like repeated draw effects Phyrexian Arena or creature spam Bitterblossom Goblin Rabblemaster. Also a big fan of cards that punish players, like Curse of Marit Lage or Painful Quandary. Throw in some good creatures (with 4+ toughness so you can spam red board sweeper spells), some reanimator spells, and some card draw, and your combo to win, and you've got a nasty little deck.

@Broganator101, Curse of Marit Lage is an interesting meta call, but Choke is probably preferable. The deck as is is really good against Teferi and JVP, being the main monoblue commanderes. I think your meta would have to have a lot of primarily-blue decks before you'd want choke or curse, tho.

Savage Ventmaw is pretty neat; but it's also too much for just a ritual. Making a lot of mana is great, but it doesn't do anything when it comes into play (unlike other big drops like Ruric Thar, the Unbowed, Void Winnower, etc, and it doesn't threaten to just win the game the next turn like Kamahl, Fist of Krosa or Ezuri's Predation.

I feel like Curse of Marit Lage should be an auto include here. You can potentially cheat it into play Turn 3 and shut down a lot of decks. Especially if you follow it up with a Winter Orb or Blood Moon

Not sure if I'm seeing right, but You mention that You hate Blue and don't run Boiling Seas or Boil? Or at least Scald or Curse of Marit Lage.

Seems like you need cards like Tectonic Instability strategy for aggro is to tap out and swing anyway, so this wont hurt you; tap all lands for mana in response to the trigger, War's Toll, Defense Grid (super good against control decks), AND MAKE THEM SUFFER WITH Curse of Marit Lage AND Price of Glory.

DRAW ALL THE CARDS!!!!
