Removed Battleground Geist and Gallows Warden and Dream Twist and replaced them with a playset of Drogskol Captain

So far this deck is working pretty good against my friends in casual.

To Seance or not?

Somehow I started this draft off with the bomby Ooze, scorned villager, 3 Dawntreader Elk's and I think an Evolving Wilds. Then I got passed a Seance in an otherwise dissappointing pack. Seemed like a nice enige reminiscent of the old Thawing Glacier days (rehashing all those Elks for lands turn after turn). So I picked it. Then I went about picking cards that would be usable with my Seance. Luckily green's ETB creatures are likely to have morbid, which supplemented my Elks nicely. I picked Ulvenwald Bears, Village Bell Ringers and a Woodland Sleuth, while grabbing all good removal, since my insane amount of fixing allowed me to play what I want. In the end though, I couldn't find room for my Seance. Seemed like the Bell ringers would hardly do any good with only elks on the field, and the potential for Seance to find an empty graveyard seemed a liability for my consistency. What do you guys make of this?

Decided to MB for now 1x Black Sun's Zenith because of its beautiful interaction with Geralf's Messenger and/or Gravecrawler. Dropped a Tragic Slip for it, while still MB two of them. In total I now MB 2x spot removal, 2x sac removal, and 1x board wipe. Post-board I have the ability to board in 2x more spot removal and another board whip, along with Curse of Death's Hold.

Cut the Honor of the Pures and Doomed Travelers for more control. Added some evolving wilds, to help smooth out the mana base, but it still feels like it needs some tweaking.

if I decide to put in the 3 midnight haunting and 3 lingering souls, I will prolly try dropping the dissipates, 2 think twice, and 2 vapor snags? thats way I can try with 3 of each? OR I could do +3 midnight haunting,+2 lingering souls, -2 think twice,-2 dissipate, -1 vapor snag. ..thoughts? *Also considering tribute to hungers to help deal with geist and stalker...or should I just keep with the board sweeps? I love the idea of snapping back a tribute to hunger...

The swords + stalker are the main win condition. Damage in general is a secondary win condition. and a third win condition is puresteel + mortar pod + mass tokens for mass burn. Trepenation blade gives some mill (multiple copies trigger multiple times) and on invisible stalker would add quite a bit of damage while it mills. Increasing confusion is crazy as hell mid-late game. Increasing Devotion makes a massive amount of tokens. Combine that with mortarpod and puresteel paladin to get the third win condition. Puresteel lets you move mortarpod around free. Just sac tokens repeatedly for a lot of burn. Be sure to keep tokens around so tribute to hunger and other such spells won't kill your stalker. And keep only 1 stalker on the field at a time regardless how many you have in hand. 1 can handle the amount of mill you need, but if they boardwipe you need to be able to recover from it.

Use Venser to Flicker your Geist honored Monks, until you get the emblem, once you do, the Game should be on lock down, the images and metamorphs are to copy either the captains, or the reavers, and the call to kindred will help pull more spirits onto the field

Definately keeping rachet bombs maindeck. Recurring it through glissa can single handedly destroy a few prominent decks (B/W tokens for one). Deck is FNM ready, would love some comments though, I find that I may have missed a perfect card or sometimes simply defending my choices can reveal stuff I didn't see before. If anyone has a DKA legal Mono-red list for testing purposes could you link it in the comments, thanks!

-2 Palladium Myr, +1 Liliana of the Veil, +1 Gideon Jura.

I feed Liliana the cards I can't use (Myr Superion with no Heartless Summoning, extra Heartless Summoning, etc.). The Palladium was often an inefficient chump.

Gideon Jura I wanted to try for his utility.

The concept of the deck is fairly simple: get loads of spirits out there. If you've got multiple copies of Drogskol Captain out there you hit like a truck, and hitting the Drogskol Reaver is an afterthought. With the Niblis of the Urn and Niblis of the Breath you stop your opponent from blocking or activating too many tricks on you.

Still working on a sideboard, I'll most likely have some Grafdigger's Cage in there but I'm hoping for some good suggestions...I've put the Suture Priest in there for now since I play a load of creatures and lifegain might come in handy....

-4 Scorned Villager  Flip +2 Mondronen Shaman  Flip +2 Ancient Grudge

Finally got my card order in and decided to not go with the 4x Scorned Villager  Flip. The mana curve is too low for it to be that useful especially in longer FFA games. Experimenting with Mondronen Shaman  Flip and can't go wrong with a solid card like Ancient Grudge

If you put counters on Tree of Redemption specifically Increasing Savagery 5 counters the first time and 10 the second that makes the tree a 15/28, switch life totals with it. The tree keeps the counters and you add whatever your life total was previously to it's toughness. You can do this every turn. Then when Feed the Pack comes in you have a TON of life AND tokens!

After playtesting this quite a bit, I've been consistently getting ~8 tokens with at least one buff up by turn 5. On a good game, I'll have 8 tokens with a signal pest and Honor of the Pure out, turn 6 swinging for 24, 16 flying. The downfall I can see now is obviously not being able to remove issues found in artifacts or enchantments. Although, I can't see many artifact/enchantment problems too excessively difficult by turn 6-7... anyway, so far this deck has consistently swung for game by turn 6-8.

Dropped down to 2x Geth's Verdict since token decks really make this card lose value, but it is still very important to take out Thrun, the Last Troll and Mirran Crusader. Also, dropped all four Smallpox. I really wanted to run them, but I think Distress is strictly better in the current meta where tokens and weenie decks reduce the effectiveness of Smallpox. Lastly, I cut 1 Grimgrin, Corpse-Born. He is a game-ending win-con, but he also is vulnerable to removal and I am attempting to keep mana costs low in this deck and win with U/B Zombie tribal beat downs.
