I'm building a toolbox deck in Commander, and I want at least one solution to each problem. What's the worst combo you've come across so far? Any combo; infinite, 2-card, 6-card, win-condition, etc.

Leyline of the Void works well for stopping lots of combos. Arcane Laboratory stops players from going off but can slow you down too.

One of the best is Worldgorger Dragon and Animate Dead, Necromancy (and the like). You will get infinite mana as long as you have another target for Animate dead

The only combo I could think of after thinking for a couple of secomds that doesn't die to Humility is Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond.

I think Platinum Emperion or Platinum Angel with a indestructible something and hexproof something is pretty dirty

I think the best ways to shutdown most combos is with graveyard hate and etb hate. Cards like Grafdigger's Cage and Torpor Orb

I have a degenerate combo I shove in my Decks specifically to shutdown trash decks, I rarely activate it unless I really really really want to hate someone out.. Helm of Obedience + Leyline of the Void or Helm of Obedience + Rest in Peace

basically, activate Helm of Obedience for 1 mana, no cards can actually hit the graveyard due to replacement effect. Exile target players deck in one shot.

Fastest possible? Turn one reveal Leyline of the Void put it into play. Land, Sol Ring, Two drop Rock. like Charcoal Diamond. Turn Two Land, Play Helm of Obedience, Activate it, Exile someones' deck.

What exactly do you mean by "worst combo." Most powerful? Most Janky? Fewest pieces? Most pieces?

Combos mean a lot of different things to different people. "Worst" can be taken many different ways.

It depends entirely on your playgroup and what kind of corner cases you're looking to answer. My Daretti, Scrap Savant deck can technically kill someone on Turn 1, but requires a perfect opening hand. Cards than can stop the kill would be Turn 0 Leyline of the Void, Force of Will, Turn 1 Mental Misstep, or any 1 mana non-destruction removal.

It also depends on how you define a "combo," because not all combos immediately win the game, such as Mycosynth Lattice + Vandalblast. Or Possibility Storm + Arcane Laboratory / Rule of Law

I would think you're basically just going to be playing hatebears. What exact combos exist is far less important than how people usually combo. You're going to be looking for things that:

  • Stop ETB triggers.
  • Stop graveyard recursion.
  • Stop tutors.
  • Limit card draw.
  • Limit the number of spells that can be played per turn.
  • Turn off activated abilities of things.

And still have counterspells and instant removal to get rid of any threat that might seek to disrupt your plan. Still having to build around a deck that is likely limiting your own gameplay in the same way you're limiting your opponents' gameplay.
