Tired of getting rofl stomped by Tron, Eldrazi and Valakut so here's my brew to try to counteract that.
Taking a page from Merfolk and jamming 4 spreading seas in the main and 4 GQ/Tec Edge in the main helps disrupt their lands. Having the Blade Splicer/Queller Flash package allows for a proactive game plan while playing a tempo game. Bolt is dog shit right now, so Queller is in a good spot to take advantage of that. 3 mana makes Push a little trickier to activate and you have Restos to keep them safe. Blessed Alliance main is prettttyy good against Death Shadow bull shit as well.
Post board you have the flexibility to board into a full on UW Control deck with wraths and removal as well as game ending planeswalkers.
Critique welcome. Here's my testing so far.
Now I've only been playing ~ 20 hours with this deck, of which 10 has been on Cockatrice so those results probably don't count.
Real life testing against DSJ and Bant Eldrazi for around 3 hours however has led me to believe that this deck is 60-40 (conservatively) against DSJ and 55-45 against Bant Eldrazi and 45-55 against Eldrazi Tron.
This deck plays like a tempo deck. The first 2 turns require you to set up with either putting a roadblock down in Wall of Omens/Spreading Seas/Leak. Turns 3-6 you basically hold up your mana for Queller/Cryptic. If your opponent doesn't play anything, you have Restos and Cliques at your disposal to play at end of turn for value/disruption. Blade Splicer is also great against TKS and Liliana of the Veil.
Often times you will find yourself staring at your opponents board with an army of 3/3 first strike golems. This deck allows you to reach the late game with the power of Snap/Cryptics as well as Colonnades. With 12 flying creatures at your disposal, I've won almost all my games by flying over my opponent's creatures.
