Testing out this Eldrazi/Titan Ramp deck using G/U. First Wednesday night magic tourney went very well:
2-0 vs mid-range Bant home-brew2-1 vs Knight Exemplar deck (1 mulligan each of first 2 games)1-2 vs W/G/U Turboland variant (30 lands) (aweful mana starve game 3, should have mulligan-ed, boarding in Slimes to deal with Colonnades was overreaction, didn't deal well with Bank-Slayer, mana leaks when he had 3 spare: i.e. issues with the deck-to-brain interface not bad deck)
Frost Titan worked well to tap down indestructible Knights and Bank-Slayers into overrun. 1-of All is Dust actually was spot-on. Omnath was a nice surprise early threat. Plenty of mana to cast Eldrazi (see Garruk+Temple), just occasionally needed them in-hand sooner. No CIPT lands was rather important. This deck just laughed at Gideon the two times he came out (into the roil results in no need to attack Gideon and delays opponent's alpha strike for a turn or leaves them exposed).
Overall, watch-outs are flyers (board-in Fog/Roil Elemental, chump with Birds), but I don't think plummet or Gravity Well really have a place in the sideboard. Windrider Eel is an idea since it can be a early surprise threat with all the landfalls and takes the deck from Land to Air assault along with Roil Elemental.
