Ya, Soratami Savant is cool.

I'm still very much in doubt of what to cut. Maybe Seed the Land, Windrider Eel and Sporemound.. but that's not enough.

Thanks, FrantaFire. Yeah, Windrider Eel is something I considered when designing the deck but I think it's just too expensive for its effect; it's really bad at defence and not even reliably good at offence either.

The 62 cards is intentional - it's a fairly common strategy in Tribal Wars - since the amount of tribal creatures required in the deck is rounded down, having 62 cards allows me to have a slightly higher ratio of non-tribal cards.

@acefalo Sure, and if I could afford a proper fetch-/dual-land manabase I would definitely give Dandan a shot, but my manabase is only barely functional as it is and trying to run a double-blue card off it would be a bad idea.

Love the deck idea.

It may be expensive at 4 CMC but Windrider Eel can be a good beater. Helps evolve the Elusive Krasis to an extent.

Also, you currently have 62 cards listed. If purposeful, power to ya. Otherwise, might wanna slim down to 60.

It's more like the difference between a $0.20 card and a $20 card. One of them costs nearly as much as my entire deck. Not gonna happen for casual play in my world. ;) And you'd still need Walking Atlas for multiple land drops per turn. I don't think I really want the control, but if I did, I'd probably replace the Windrider Eel's in my build, as they're not all that great. I have a playset of Rune Snag that may eventually find their way in there - right now living in an Izzet control deck. Or I might rather have some more Jace's Erasure & card draw. My deck mills, but just as often it kills with a bunch of little fliers while people are distracted by me milling them.

Here's the deck in discussion: Fly Me to the Moon ($35 Budget Mill)

Also, you should put some landfall cards other than Explore, like Animist's Awakening, Rampant Growth, or Nissa's Pilgrimage. Maybe also some draw spells like Mysteries of the Deep or Treasure Hunt. Also, Baloth Woodcrasher, Living Tsunami, Windrider Eel, or Dreamscape Artist might be considered.
