Oooh boy, it's been a while! —Oct. 31, 2016

I've kind of just left this deck in the state it was for a long while but now I've finally updated the list!

Out: Dark Ritual, Psychosis Crawler, Lich, Ad Nauseam, Chandra, Flamecaller, Volrath's Stronghold

In: Propaganda, Fevered Visions, Dream Halls, Jace's Archivist, Tezzeret the Seeker, Boseiju, Who Shelters All

Have you considered Forced Fruition ? Also if your opponents are drawing a lot, Consecrated Sphinx ?

This deck is good. Different from what I'm used to but I like it.

I have considered Forced Fruition, and I used to play around with it in the early stages of this deck but I just felt that a wheel had a better spot in the deck. It was very seldom I actually got to play Forced Fruition, and when I did I rarely had Nekusar, the Mindrazer in play. But again, that was in another version of the deck. Might be good to experiment with it again. Regarding Consecrated Sphinx, it really has good synergy with Psychosis Crawler, but that's about it. It's also be a good card that I can try out some, but I'm doubtful about what sort of place it has in this deck, seeing as most of my kills are with Wheels, Waste Not and Discard damage, and that happens very early on. Have often drawn more than half my deck by turn 5.

Forced Fruition is a potential win whenever you get settup.
Also Iron Maiden, Black Vise, Ebony Owl Netsuke, and Serum Visions are also pretty swiggity.
You can check out my Nekusar deck for more inspiration.

Thing is, while a deck like yours works just fine on the principle of having your opponents hand size at 7+, and the damage coming from just that. It works differently from mine. The cards you linked are fantastic cards, don't get me wrong, but they aren't cards I necessarily want to put in my deck. Fevered Visions is already on my watch list, I want that because it's card draw, really. My damage mostly comes from discarding, or wheeling in general. Getting a Wheel of Fortune off with Waste Not on the table is just an amazing time, because I generally combo off and just win that turn. I don't actually need cards that punishes large hand sizes.

That being said, I appreciate your suggestions, and that you're interested in the deck in general. =D

You would really benefit from Reliquary Tower and/or Thought Vessel

Believe it or not but I've never had to discard due to big hand size. But if anyone of those has a spot in the deck it would be Reliquary Tower. =D

Yeah, I understand. I love the Doomsday flavor too. ;DAlthough, Lich and Ad Nauseam, Dark Ritual and Chandra are cards that I might take out for the cards in my maybeboard. I'm experimenting with them atm, and I do like how the deck plays now.

Your curve is low enough for the ad nauseam. but i have never liked dark rit in commander except in my storm edh. and even then, the deck revolved around setting myself up to either combo off with ad nauseam or to set up liek 10 draw triggers on the stack and just use Leyline of Anticipation+Doomsday with lab maniac out to win.

My curve is very low yes, because it was initially built around Ad Naus. If I remove Ad Naus I can have a slightly higher curve. Thing is that I've never used the Ad Naus combo that often to actually win. Because it wins consistently on discard damage with Megrim, Liliana's Caress and Waste Not. So Ad Naus is mostly just a dead card. I've explained my reasoning in the latest deck update. =)

Alright. I'm glad to see you are building around how you like to play. Speaking of that, you seem to be very knowledgeable. Would you take a look at my Storm EDH?Jeleva is casting all up in your face

Nice build!

Some more potential suggestions for you.

Creatures with wheel effects:Dragon Mage, Jace's Archivist, Seizan, Perverter of Truth

Planeswalker with synergy: Ob Nixilis Reignited

Everyone draws more: Fascination, Molten Psyche, Prosperity, Skyscribing,

Check out my Nekusar everyone draws deck if you like Mindrazer No Chaser or its cousin Crosis's discard all deck Discarded Dreams

Some of the cards you mentioned I've already had in the deck in an earlier version. I might run Ob Nixilis Reignited though, I like that. Jace's Archivist I'm already testing and Molten Psyche is already in the deck. ;P

I'd like to keep the deck wheel focused because I love the interaction with Waste Not. But I'll definitely test Ob Nixilis Reignited. =D

Thank you for your input!
