So this is my first build of an idea I had for modern. Elder Deep-Fiend and Emerge work together in that you can emerge off of, say, a Shriekmaw cast with emerge in response to the ETB trigger. So for shriekmaw it's 1BUU for a Terror and a 5/6 that taps 4 things on cast.... which is pretty good. So I built around that shell, the good emerge guys being Shriekmaw, Mulldrifter, and in the board Ingot Chewer. T3 deep fiend + blow up an artifact against affinity seems pretty good, no?

Otherwise, the deck is a normal grixis shell, with the only difference being 2 Kozilek's Returns in the side that go great with deep fiend.
