Desecration Demon

This is my current Jund deck that im running at my local tournaments, it does pretty decent in my meta except that it is pretty slow compared to my decks from pre-rotation.

There isnt much to combo in here, everything sort of fends for itself.

Desecration Demon is a nice sac engine, i dont often get to attack with it, but it does help to keep my opponents field in check.

Dreg Mangler was put in because the early game of the deck is pretty weak to fast aggro, this guy has a good sized body and if he hits the graveyard at all then in the late game I can turn something into an attacker.

Olivia Voldaren and Huntmaster of the Fells   are pretty solid cards, either one can bring the game much closer to the end as well as killing off other creatures from a distance.

Thragtusk and Vampire Nighthawk provide some much needed life gain to be able to survive against quick aggro decks.

Tragic Slip, Sever the Bloodline and Dreadbore provide tons of spot removal, and morbid is almost always active, especially with the demon out. I was going to have bonfire in here but i found that mortars is much better to draw early game, and just as effective late game (not as brutal, but still does a good job).

Deathrite Shaman is a card i just love, and feel is extremely underrated, ive cast him in every game ive played and have used him to gain about 4-6 life and deal about the same amount of damage, and provide mana ramp before the opponent decides to use a kill spell on him. So much value.

Sideboard

Abrupt Decay: some extra removal, if the opponent is running lots of keyrunes or some other cheap permanent thats giving the deck some grief then in this comes.

Desecration Demon : Sometimes overkill is necessary. About 1/3rd of the decks i go up against in my meta cant deal with the demon, so trying to bring out multiples is a game ender.

Flames of the Firebrand : Some nice utility burn, take out planeswalkers, or a couple of guys on the field, whatever is needed.

Mizzium Mortars: Had this mainboard before but needed a spot for Sever the Bloodline instead. That being said this is a great card regardless and i expect to side this in vs those people who want lots of little men to control.

Golgari Charm: Enchantments are a bit of a pain to remove, so best to have something just in case. The other effects are very handy too seeing as none of my creatures have 1 toughness.

Slaughter Games : This can ruin some control decks, as long as you know what you need to search for.

underworld connection: This is amazing, i try to side this in against any matchups that arent pure "smash-face-burn" aggro styles. The card advantage is just incredible.

Updates Add

I have sideboarded Mizzium Mortars in favor of Sever the Bloodline. Exile is highly important in my meta as well as most others i assume, especially since there is nothing in standard that states "cannot be regenerated".
