Creature (1)

Grixis control deck in the making. Using absurdly strong cards like Torrential Gearhulk, the deck aims to lock out the opponent until you can slowly kill them.

This deck is in progress. Comments and suggestions are appreciated. Also, if you like the deck, consider upvoting it.

Full Breakdown of Non-land Cards

Mainboard:

Anticipate - A very important card in this deck. I have tested it and it can find a land if you are behind, or an answer if you need it. A vital card.

Censor - A good counter to stop early game threats.

Disallow - An amazing counterspell that can also deal with annoying abilities.

Essence Scatter - Great for creature heavy decks and aggro decks.

Glimmer of Genius - One of the best draw spells in standard and can be brought back with Torrential Gearhulk.

Magma Spray - Good removal spell especially against zombies.

Negate - Good counter to a lot of decks. Stops planeswalkers and other counter spells.

Pull from Tomorrow - A very good draw card spell that can turn the tide of the game if it resolves.

Unlicensed Disintegration - A fantastic removal spell that can burn the opponent. Playing it with Torrential Gearhulk is just fantastic and great value.

Sphinx of the Final Word - Great finisher especially against mirror match-ups. Hexproof and can't be counter really come in handy.

Thing in the Ice   - Another great finisher late game and early game blocker. Very strong card and not hard to flip.

Torrential Gearhulk - Obviously this card is busted. Seen in almost all control decks that run blue. This is an instant include.

Sweltering Suns - Good boardwipe against creature based decks including aggro and zombies.

Transgress the Mind - Get those pesky cards like Aetherworks Marvel out of your opponents' hands.

Chandra, Flamecaller - Great late game finisher that can stabilize the board once it hits.

Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh - Fantastic finisher that can take over the game once you stabilize.

Sideboard:

By Force - Good for artifact decks.

Dispel - For control match-ups and combat tricks

Dispossess - Great against Aetherworks Marvel to stop the turn four Ulamog.

Dragonmaster Outcast - This card is great against a mirror match up. Getting a 5/5 every turn is just brutal. It surprised me but did a lot of work.

Flaying Tendrils - Good to stop the recurring zombies.

Lost Legacy - A great card for stopping combo decks and/or getting rid of cards that hurt the deck.

Never / Return - Good against Gideons or other annoying planeswalkers or big creatures.

Sphinx of the Final Word - An extra one just in case there is a mirror match-up.

To the Slaughter - A great counter to an early Ulamog.
