A burn-heavy approach to the Thermo-Visions archetype. Thanks in advance for your comments and suggestions!

• I welcome your suggestions, but PLEASE review this section before making comments :-)

Strategy and Card Choices

WIN-CON: There are just so many ways to do damage here ... Burn from Fiery Temper and Incendiary Flow; Smash-face from Bedlam Reveler, Stormchaser Mage, and Wandering Fumarole; Pings from Thermo-Alchemist; and Shocks from Fevered Visions (on the sideboard until the meta settles down a bit).

ALTERNATE WIN-CON: See the win-con paragraph :-)

PREVENT OPPONENT WIN-CONS: Redirect Burn spells to kill Planeswalkers; use Lightning Axe and Galvanic Bombardment or other Burn to kill Creatures; and use Negate on Removal, Planeswalkers, Artifacts, and Enchantments.

MOVE TOWARDS THE WIN: Card draw from Bedlam Reveler; Take Inventory; and Tormenting Voice.

SIDEBOARD

• Ceremonious Rejection and Dispel: Mix and match, as needed.
• Collective Defiance: For more Burn, and to cycle cards when needed. Also to mess with an Opponent's hand if they don't have a poker face.
• Fevered Visions: A spectacular card, but Aggro match-ups are usually rough and there's a lot of Aggro early in the season.
• Kozilek's Return: vs. Weenies

PLAYTIPS (SO FAR)

• An opening hand should have a threat (Creature or Fevered Visions) and the Lands to play it.
• It's easy to cast Bedlam Reveler for or less.

MAYBEBOARD

• Cathartic Reunion: Better than Tormenting Voice in many ways, but it's sometimes hard to pay the casting cost.
• Chandra, Torch of Defiance: An amazing card; just not sure it's worth the money.
• Dynavolt Tower and Harnessed Lightning: Great option, if the deck wants more Burn.
• Niblis of Frost : Not sure this deck wants a four-drop, but if so, it probably wants this one.
• Summary Dismissal: High mana-cost, but oh so nice.
• Void Shatter: When it absolutely, positively has to be countered. Especially good against Graveyard decks.

GREAT CARDS I'M NOT USING AND WHY

• Thing in the Ice  : A great mainboard option in a more Control-oriented deck.
• Unsubstantiate: Meh against Creatures with powerful ETB effects.
• Weaver of Lightning : Great sideboard vs. Flyers, but I think the deck needs it only if I end up with Thing in the Ice   on the mainboard.
