Battle Box - Mardu-Green

Casual BRGW Casual RBW (Mardu)

TheNerdySteve

The Mardu-Green deck attacks early and often. It uses its aggressive creatures like Bloodsoaked Champion and Figure of Destiny and Kytheon to deal early damage and uses Butcher of the Horde or Brutal Hordechief to finish opponents.

There is a morph theme helps you when the mana isn't entirely cooperating, but it also makes your opponent second guess their decision - will there creature die? can they attack with a flier? are you going to get back that Archangel Avacyn?

Green is a recent addition to this deck - but Stansia has already proven her worth. She is allows you take advantage of one weak player to kill another or to just deal a large amount of damage out of nowhere.

Mardu Ascendancy, Wingmate Roc, and Kari Zev along with other cards need you to be attacking to get their full potential - you can't sit back with this deck otherwise you will lose. Being aggressive is paramount to its success; the later the game goes, the more likely other decks will be able to take control and beat you.
